Dr. Singh is the founder of both A Square Group LCC (ASG) whose primary focus is to develop and bring innovative Information Technology (IT) solutions and services to federal and state agencies and its sister company, Medpsych Health Services Clinics, multiple multi-specialty physician clinics focusing on quality of care for urban, rural population, civilians, active-duty military, and veterans at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DoD). Dr. Singh founded ASG as a “Health Management and Health Delivery organization” and embedded it within the continuum of healthcare delivery to offer healthcare business technology solutions that advance the federal healthcare mission. Recognizing the value of connecting the health management, Information Technology (IT), and healthcare delivery realms through data, Dr. Singh was a very early adopter of Health Information Technology (HIT) and utilized electronic data (eData) to understand the complex needs of her patients, veterans and civilian populations with life-limiting medical/mental health and substance use needs.

Dr. Singh is certified with American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is an active member of Health Information and Management Systems Society.  She is a dynamic team leader on clinical/health care programs, with over 15 years of experience growing and leading organizations and building innovative programs in challenging and complex environments. She is known for leading organizations providing strategic and operational leadership while working closely with team members to establish goals, strategies, plans and policies to grow the company and make it self-supporting and sustainable.

Dr. Singh initiated her Psychiatry residency at University of Virginia where she later transferred to the University of West Virginia to join a combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry program. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the West Virginia University CAMC hospital program serving as the Chief Resident of Internal Medicine and Psychiatry. After completing her residency, she joined Sheppard Pratt Health System and Frederick Memorial Hospital, a tertiary care center in the larger Washington D.C. metro area. A year later she pursued starting Medpsych Health Services.

Dr. Singh is board certified in Psychiatry & Neurology and Internal Medicine. She is part of the clinical staff at John Hopkins Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, Washington Psychiatric Society. She is a Fellow of American Psychiatric Association. She is now serving as a member of the WPS Advocacy Committee and is further honored to join the MPS-WPS Legislative Action Committee. She was selected as “America’s Top Psychiatrists” by Consumer’s Research Council of America in 2010.
